TYM stands with young farmers from the start
For more than 70 years, TYM has upheld the core values of sustainable progress and responsible innovation, growing alongside farmers in every field. In the past five years, our focus on empowering the next generation has taken shape through the Young Farmer Tractor Donation Program which provides practical assistance to young farmers who are the driving force behind Korea’s agricultural future. With strong interest and participation each year, this program has now become one of TYM’s flagship social contribution initiatives.

Hope for rural communities starts with a strong foundation for young farmers
From declining populations, an aging farming workforce, and the high initial costs of starting out, rural Korea continues to face significant challenges.
Through this program, TYM aims to help young farmers put down roots in their communities and start farming with stability and confidence.
In 2025, we will provide advanced, durable tractors to first-generation farmers under 40. This will not only meet their immediate needs but also to revitalize rural agriculture, strengthen national food security, and build a sustainable agricultural ecosystem.

Fair and transparent selection for real change
The 2025 tractor donation program will proceed as follows:

• Application period: July–September
• Review period: October
• Recipient announcement & donation ceremony: November
• Equipment provided: Sixteen 50 HP tractors

• Selection criteria: Type of farming work, marital status, number of children, years since starting farming, agricultural training, type of farmland, income bracket, and gender

TYM is committed to ensuring a transparent and fair process for all applicants. The evaluation will be carried out in collaboration with an independent committee, including representatives from the Ministry of Agriculture, Food, and Rural Affairs, to guarantee equitable consideration.

In 2025, sixteen 50-horsepower tractors will be awarded—machines capable of delivering reliable performance in a wide range of working conditions.
But our support doesn’t end with the donation. TYM will stay in regular contact with recipients, sharing their stories and field updates, and joining them in local events across the country. Together, we will consider how to support their long-term growth.
