The World Class 300 project, run by the Korean government, has identified TYM as a company with world-class standards for innovation, sustainability and employee support. The recognition came in 2014, with TYM being among the first 100 to get selected for the project. So far, 156 companies have been identified, with the project's ultimate goal of identifying 300 companies.

As one of the selected companies, TYM now has increased potential to receive 26 customized packages to support research and development, overseas expansion, manpower, financing, management and more. The funding will come from a consultative body of 20 supporting organizations, including the Korea Institute of Trade and Investment Promotion (KOTRA). With up to 7.5 billion Won (67.7 million USD) of funding over 5 years, selected companies can establish a customized marketing roadmap, particularly for overseas marketing.

The World Class 300 evaluation committee consists of experts from the industry, academia, and research institutes. TYM was selected after meticulous in-depth evaluation across four stages. These were a review of the basic requirements, field evaluation, field inspection, and a comprehensive evaluation over the course of 50 days.
