  • Continued environmental cleanup activities with employee participation throughout the year following the ‘Preciousging’ ecological trail cleanup at Iksan Mireuksaji in the first half of the year

Agricultural machinery specialist TYM (Co-CEOs Kim Hee-yong and Kim Do-hoon / 002900) announced on the 29th that employees from its Iksan Plant engaged in environmental cleanup activities around Seodong Park and the Seodong Ecotourism Area, renowned local tourist sites.

The second half of the year’s environmental cleanup activities took place on the 21st, with participation from 37 employees of the TYM Iksan Plant. Recognizing the need to expand beyond the previously targeted Iksan Mireuksaji Ecological Trail to share positive influence, TYM selected Seodong Park and the Seodong Ecotourism Area as new sites for their cleanup efforts. Employees collected waste and tidied the environment, covering areas from the Seodong Park parking lot to the ecotourism site and nearby roads.

In line with its environmental management policy, TYM continues its environmental cleanup activities to contribute to global environmental protection and enhance employees’ sense of responsibility as community members. Earlier this year, TYM conducted ‘Preciousging,’ an activity involving observing natural ecology and picking up trash at the Iksan Mireuksaji Ecological Trail.

An employee who participated in the cleanup activity remarked, “Reviewing and cleaning up the environment around our workplace allowed me to feel a sense of responsibility as a community member. I plan to continue participating in these opportunities with a mindset of representing the company.”
