TYM is accelerating its global market penetration by establishing a local subsidiary in Europe.

The specialized agricultural machinery company TYM announced on the 18th that it has completed the establishment of the integrated European subsidiary ‘TYM EUROPE B.V. (TYM Netherlands LLC)’. TYM holds a network of importers across 27 major European countries and views Europe as a market with high potential for increased sales. To strategically approach this market, the company has completed the local subsidiary establishment and is preparing for operation.

This marks TYM's first subsidiary in Europe as part of its efforts to diversify its global market. The European subsidiary is located in Amsterdam, Netherlands, known for its highest competitive edge in business, economic, and environmental aspects as an optimal logistics hub in Europe. A base for timely parts supply across Europe will be established in Tilburg. TYM promoted the establishment and operation plans for the European subsidiary at the ‘EIMA 2024’, one of the world's four major agricultural machinery exhibitions, strengthening ties with key partners.

Through the establishment of the European subsidiary, TYM aims to further enhance customer accessibility. By supplying parts across Europe within 48 hours and providing local services, TYM seeks to improve customer satisfaction, thereby enhancing sales and profitability. Additionally, by managing key partners, collecting business environment and market information, and planning for long-term changes in the distribution structure, such as direct product sales from the European subsidiary, TYM expects a positive synergy effect in its European market penetration.

TYM plans to commence operations of the European subsidiary in February 2025. With the establishment of an accessory supply network, it will meet the diverse demands of different regions and seasons across Europe, which is expected to drive tractor sales growth. By strengthening services and training for local customers,

TYM will further enhance the functionality of the European subsidiary and its network with local partners. Recently, Ukrainian parliamentary delegates visited TYM's headquarters, discussing active support for tractor manufacturing parts and services through the European subsidiary. TYM intends to organically connect with the European subsidiary to enhance brand recognition and implement a customer-centric sales strategy. By expanding sales of medium and large tractors over 70 horsepower and reorganizing the distribution network, TYM lays the foundation for the growth and stabilization of the European subsidiary. The company aims to achieve a 10% market share in all strategic European countries and plans to use the establishment of the European subsidiary as a bridgehead for expanding TYM's products and brand into the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) markets.

A TYM official stated, “The establishment of the European subsidiary demonstrates TYM's commitment to significantly expanding its market share in Europe while serving as a solid foundation for global market diversification and TYM brand competitiveness enhancement,” adding, “We will improve sales and profitability by enhancing customer satisfaction through timely parts supply and service responses across Europe and will pursue organizational strengthening to gradually expand our European business.”
