From introducing eco-friendly composites and no-paint processes to building carbon-neutral factories, TYM is taking measurable steps to reduce plastic usage and promote environmental responsibility, helping agriculture and the environment grow together.
Leading the industry in ESG and plastic reduction
TYM was the first company in Korea’s agricultural machinery sector to announce an ESG management vision. Rooted in business growth, environmental responsibility, and social well-being, this vision guides every part of our strategy. One of our key priorities: reducing plastic use and integrating eco-friendly materials across product development and manufacturing. Here are some ways we’ve brought our ESG vision to life in recent years.

Eco-friendly lightweight composites
In partnership with Dyetec Research Institute, TYM introduced bio-based composites such as kenaf–PP into agricultural machinery for the first time in Korea. These composites are over 25% lighter than PP/Talc, the conventional plastic blend commonly used in tractor components, and they offer greater durability while reducing carbon emissions.
THF 400, the industry’s first eco-friendly oil
As part of ongoing sustainability goals, TYM developed the THF 400, an eco-friendly transmission oil formulated from plant-based materials, helping minimize environmental impact even during maintenance and operation.
Plastic waste and recycling management
At TYM, we disclose our annual plastic waste generation and recycling rates, and we continue to increase recycling ratios as part of a broader effort to reduce waste across the entire value chain. Through clear action and transparency, TYM is working to lead the industry in solving real-world sustainability challenges.

Plastic-free July for sustainable agriculture and a healthier planet
TYM goes beyond participating in environmental campaigns—we are working to make the entire tractor industry more sustainable. From adopting eco-friendly products and improving production processes to reducing energy use and strengthening ESG strategies across the company, TYM is helping shape the future of sustainable agriculture.
With industry-first practices, transparent ESG reporting, and a clear vision for the future, TYM is proud to lead the agricultural machinery industry toward a cleaner, more sustainable, plastic-free future.
