TYM has officially launched ‘Honam Plaza’, a regional integrated service hub, further strengthening its customer-centric management through a tailored support system closely connected to the agricultural field.

Global agricultural machinery specialist TYM (Co-CEOs: Kim Hiyong and Kim Dohoon / 002900) announced on the 7th that it held a successful opening ceremony for ‘Honam Plaza’, located in the Innovation Industrial Complex in Naju, Jeollanam-do, on the previous day.

The event was attended by around 250 participants, including TYM CEO Dohoon Kim, Domestic Business Division Head Dongik Kim, about 60 TYM employees, Naju Mayor Byungtae Yoon, Naju City Council Chairman Jaenam Lee, Naju Nonghyup President Youngwoo Heo, officials from the Agricultural Technology Center, VIP customers, and YouTubers.

The ceremony began with a congratulatory speech by Mayor Byungtae Yoon and a welcome address from CEO Dohoon Kim, followed by an introduction to the vision and role of Honam Plaza, a preview of the 2026 new product lineup, a ribbon-cutting ceremony, and a tour of the exhibition hall.

TYM Honam Plaza, established in the Honam region—Korea’s largest agricultural production area—is a strategic hub designed to broaden connections with local farmers and enhance customized service capabilities. The facility features a 1,200-pyeong (approx. 4,000㎡) test yard, a 400-pyeong assembly plant, and a 70-pyeong office building. Additionally, a 360-pyeong showroom and a parts center are being added, creating an integrated base encompassing products, parts, and services. With continued investment in facilities and parts, the Plaza is expected to become a core hub that surpasses competitors in both scale and functionality. The site will also serve as a one-stop destination for the latest agricultural machinery exhibitions, hands-on training, and professional after-sales service, driving the competitiveness of agriculture in the Honam region and revitalizing the industry ecosystem.

At the event, TYM also unveiled its upcoming lineup of new products from overseas agricultural machinery brands, scheduled for sequential release starting in 2026. The new lineup includes high-performance, high-functionality models such as the John Deere 6M Series (115–180 horsepower) and the ISEKI PRJ 10-row rice transplanter. Through these new additions, TYM aims to further strengthen its product portfolio and provide more efficient and practical solutions for agricultural operations.

With the opening of Honam Plaza, TYM plans to operate a permanent exhibition and demonstration space for agricultural machinery. This will serve as an interactive space where customers can experience products firsthand and provide feedback, reinforcing TYM’s customer-centric management. The company will focus on practical problem-solving and tailored service, actively reflecting customers’ voices in the field.

A TYM representative stated, “Honam Plaza is an integrated, customer-oriented hub combining products, parts, and services. We will continue to provide services even closer to the agricultural field and establish ourselves as a trusted brand by expanding our portfolio with state-of-the-art technology.”
