- "The aim is to enhance the factory's operations to ensure swift and smooth import-export processes, thereby contributing to increased sales."
A bonded factory refers to a facility where goods subject to deferred taxation can be manufactured or processed. TYM's Okcheon Bonded Factory has been operational since 2011, efficiently handling the company's import-export tasks.
By operating the bonded factory, TYM has secured competitiveness in various areas such as production capacity and pricing, contributing not only to revenue generation but also to the development of the local community.
In 2023, the newly appointed Director of Cheongju Customs, Choi Young-min, visited the TYM Okcheon Bonded Factory to inspect the operational status. He also listened to the difficulties and suggestions from the field and instructed the establishment of solutions to the problems.
Meanwhile, Cheongju Customs provides active on-site support to ensure the TYM bonded factory can generate synergy in its operations.
TYM plans to continue its efforts to efficiently operate the Okcheon Bonded Factory and enhance its systems. This is expected to aid in revitalizing the Okcheon region.
A TYM official stated, "Considering that exports account for a significant portion of the company's sales, we recognize the importance of operating the bonded factory. We will proceed with enhancing the related sectors to enable more swift and smooth import-export processes and contribute to increased sales."
